We are pleased to inform you our Society's successful and popular photography exhibition's duration has been extended. It will remain open for all you to visit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until October 5th, 2007

With our Athens Int’l Airport photography exhibition coming to an end and with a constant flow of positive remarks from the press and from visiting public, we are organizing one more, and this time final, visit to the exhibition hall for our friends and members on
20:30 Friday, September 21st
We would be delighted to meet you all there, at the Main Terminal Building, Arrivals level, Exit 1.

The Hellenic Aviation Enthusiasts Society “Air-Born” in cooperation with the Athens International Airport proudly present:
”Greeks photograph airplanes with passion”
From June 1st until September 28th
Arrivals Level, Main Terminal Building / Exit 1
The exhibition features 30 photographic moments captured by the lens of Greek plane spotters - members of our Society - an expression of our great passion for civil aviation. With our gaze always trained skywards, Greek aviation enthusiasts enjoy capturing aviation through its course, and sharing the global aviation experience with the whole wide world.
Plane spotting, one of the most unique hobbies worldwide, creates emotions which fire the imagination and invite the airport visitors to a “journey to the world of aviation”.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Greek aviation magazine “Remove Before Flight”.

The Corfu excursion (CFU / LGKR) - August 2007 |

Frequent movements, balconies with a view and the setting well known for its, not always aviation related, charms; Corfu is an ideal destination for all aviation enthusiasts.
So, come early August, we will be there. The first tickets and hotel rooms have already been booked. Participants’ list is still open but subject to hotel availability.
Our fellow members can always contact our Secretary for information, for taking part in this excursion or for suggestions for future Society activities.

Invitation and Participation in PhotoVision 2007 |

The Hellenic Aviation Enthusiasts Society "Air-Born" is delighted and honoured to accept the invitation kindly extended to us by the monthly magazine "Photographer" and take part in the photographic equipment exhibition “PhotoVision 2007” which will be held at the old Athens Airport, Hellinikon East from the 22nd until the 26th of February.
Having already finalized our participation, our Society will take part with an aviation photography exhibition and an exhibitor’s stand. Photographs will be 50 x 70 cm K-mount prints.
All members interested in taking part with their original work or members who would like to represent our Society at our stand, are kindly requested to contact our photography exhibitions manager, Mr. Ilias Diakoumakos.
