The Hellenic Aviation Enthusiasts’ Society
“Air-Born” is pleased to announce that our Society’s successful and popular
photography exhibition held at Athens International Airport and at “Makedonia” International Airport in Thessaloniki
is now mounted at "Ioannis Kapodistrias" International Airport in Corfu.
From
August 4th until
October 31st
at International Arrivals /
Departures Hall, the airport hosts 30
photographic moments captured by the lens of Greek planespotters - members of
“Air-born” Society - an expression of their great passion for civil aviation.
Greek aviation enthusiasts enjoy capturing aviation through its course, and
sharing the global aviation experience with the whole wide world.

Among the planned 2008 activities of the
Hellenic Aviation Enthusiasts Society “Air-born” is the participation in the 24th
IAOPA Light Aviation exposition. This event will be held at Tatoi AFB in Greece,
on June 13-15 under the name of “ICARUS 2008 -
1st
INTERNATIONAL AEROEXPO ATHENS”.
This event will host several important international exhibitors, as well as
other interesting activities such as familiarization flights, aerial displays,
light aircraft static display, aviation related lectures etc. You may find more

Our Association, in collaboration with AOPA Hellas will be present in the expo
in a 9m2 booth, where promotional material presenting “Air-born” will
be available in Greek and English language, member photos will be exhibited and
multimedia presentations of our latest activities will be displayed for the
public.
Our involvement and direct participation in this event will give us an excellent
opportunity to present our association and its activities to a great number of
local and international aviation enthusiasts.
