On Wednesday, 13^th of April, an emergency landing took place at the Athens Int’l Airport. An Emirates Airbus A380, registered A6-EDK, which was operating the flight EK017 from Dubai to Manchester, made an emergency landing at the A.I.A. at 12:23p.m. due to a medical incident.

Although “Air-Born” members were informed at the last possible minute, soon after the announcement of the Α380 crew for emergency landing, they rushed all over the A.I.A. in order to capture the first visit of the gigantic aircraft at the A.I.A., which is certified from the Civil Aviation Authority and approved by Airbus as an alternative airport for the A380.
