In the frame of our Society’s contact with associations from abroad, “Air- Born”
members were present
at
Madrid Airport “Barajas” 3rd Open Day. "Air- Born" attended one of
the established “open airport” days,
organized
for all aviation enthusiasts, being among many “colleagues” from Spain,
Portugal, G. Britain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Russia and Hungary.
From early in the morning and till late in the afternoon, our members had the
opportunity to be close to their favourite aircrafts, in an airport famous for
its “exotic” visitors. Getting in contact with foreign spotters, exchanging
opinions on issues related to our hobby and the continuous landings and
take-offs created a happy mood, which couldn't be ruined even by the slight rain
during the day.

We would like to thank AIRE Club and the "Madrid Open Day" hosts and we are
looking forward to a new meeting, in some airport of course!
