On Friday, July 20th, a delegation of "Air- Born" attended the
celebration ceremony for the 60th anniversary of the HAF 338 Sqn’s
establishment.
The event, which took place in the Air Base of Andravida (117 Combat Wing) was
attended by the Chief of Hellenic Tactical Air Force Lt. Gen. Fotios Krevaikas,
the HAF Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Konstantinos Spiroulias, the Commanders
of 117 CW and the Air Tactics Centre, former Commanders, Officers, Sergeants,
and civil personnel having served and still serving in Squadron.
During the ceremony, a demonstration flight was performed by PHANTOM F-4E AUP
aircrafts, one if which anniversary decorated especially for this day. After its
completion, we had the chance to discuss with the current and former staff of
the 338Sqn.
Our Association, in recognition of its work all these years, offered to the
Commander of the 338Sqn, Lt. Colonel Aggelos Kaligaridis, a tablet, wishing them
to keep offering successfully their services to our country.
